You’re not lost or stuck

You're Not Lost or Stuck | freshbysian.com

A few months back, I was starting to feel like a real whiney bitch. I wasn’t sure on what I wanted to create next in my business, and I had no fucking clue what my living situation was going to look like for most of this year. It was pissing me off and stressing me out, and it was not a good time.

You know how it goes, you’re all ‘wahhh I’m so fucking stuck’.

Cut to about a month later, and I start talking to my pal Amanda about this experiment we wanted to try out. For a month, we were gonna go with our intuition on whatever came up for us. So if we had to make a business decision, we’d see what our gut vibes told us, and here’s the kicker — we’d actually take action on it. If we had to make a life decision or we weren’t sure about what was next, we’d see what our gut vibes told us and again, we’d take action on it.

It’s safe to say it was a pretty interesting month, and if there’s one huge thing I learned, it was this ::

We’re never as stuck as we think we are. Deep down, we always know what we need… We just gotta pay attention to it.

Soooo… What is your intuition/gut vibes? To me — it’s just our raw selves, minus the expectations or pressure or bullshit. Some people call it their gut; their inner light; the universe; whatever. It doesn’t really matter what you choose to call it… It’s that gut feeling you get when you’re onto something amazing… Or those vibes you get when something doesn’t feel right and you gotta b-line it. Ya know what I mean?

How do you tap into that shit? There’s lots of different ways you can tap into those gut vibes, but for me personally I gotta credit Jess Lively 100% for this one. She wrote a full post about it over here, but basically she suggested journalling as if you’re having a 1-1 convo with your intuition.

Here’s an example of one I did a few weeks back (in regards to my living situation) ::

Me :: 'What do I need to know about what's next?'

Intuition :: 'Canada isn't going anywhere. You'll be back soon enough, with or without residency.' (Side note so this kinda makes sense :: I'm trying to get residency in Canada at the moment, and I just got back after spending about 2 months there)

Me :: 'But what the fuck am I meant to do/where should I live until then?'

Intuition :: 'Go where you feel alive.'

Me :: 'Okay... But the one place I wanna go, the place that's calling me... All everyone ever talks about is how expensive it is.'

Intuition :: 'Yah, well, what are you gonna do, live in fear and not do shit because of the hype? What would it take for this to happen? Have you done any serious recon for yourself?'

Me :: 'Not recently...'

Intuition :: 'Well, off ya go. Just start the process and see what happens.'

Crazy, right? So you’re kinda just having a convo with yourself. At first it seems a little strange if you’re not used to it, but I promise once you can get into it, it’s pretty amazing, and you’re sure to uncover some stuff you didn’t realise before, or you just didn’t take much notice of.

But as I mentioned above, this stuff only matters if you actually take ACTION on what you discover… Otherwise it’s worthless and you can go back to being a whiney bitch.

Here’s that link again to Jess Lively’s post where she explains how to tap into your intuition and see what’s up. If you’re a newbie like I was, I’d totally recommend starting there. But if you have any other ways for dialling into that shit, let me know!

pssst... You’re sick of doing things the way they’ve always been done. You’re ready to commit like a motherfucker to winning at your own game, and you’re prepared to do the work to get to where you want to be.

Sound like you? Sweet, then I think you might dig what I'm cookin' up. I'm launching something new, and the exclusive Squad-only pre-sale is coming August 16th. Get amongst the action over here!
